I'm a third year visual communications student of the Alberta College of Art + Design. I live, work and play in Calgary, Alberta. I like big data, motion design, information design and typography. In my spare time I explore that boundary that can get constructed between art and design (and then the exploration usually finds its way back into my design work). I just love making stuff–even if it turns out terrible.

If you're picking up what I'm putting down or you feel like you could teach me something please get in touch; it's very likely I'd love to work with you. Contact information is also at the bottom of this page.
A booklet for Zach Gage's Data exhibition. Zach's work asks some critical questions about data and the web. The booklet folds vertically like a printed web page and the folds frame a 16:9 piece of the page (referencing the screen medium). The booklet gives the recipient a preview of the exhibition.

All images used within the exhibition booklet are owned by Zach Gage.

A short promotional video for the Alberta College of Art + Design. The various colours represent the diversity of the students and work found within.

In the spirit of the Quantified Life community this poster outlines all the data I collected during the summer of 2011. The central information graphic is scannable for the main points but provides depth for the niche audience that wants to know more.

This motion graphic visualizes and evokes the emotion of a short portion of a song using solely typographic characters.
